The Solar System Facts Posters have just been added to my TpT store — but not just the fact posters. I added an entire Our Solar System bundle — everything you need for little ones who are learning about the universe for the first time.

After putting together this bundle, I think its pretty safe to say the Solar System has been added to my “faves” for lesson plan themes. I took a lot of time making the resources in this bundle visually interesting without being too busy for younger children. This bundle includes 17 posters with the Solar System facts, TWO sets of yoga pose cards, a memory game and five simple space-themed printables.

Solar System Facts: Posters & Cards

There are 17 Solar System Fact posters and cards. Originally when I began designing fact posters, I only did the vertical posters. Then COVID hit and I realized how helpful it would be to add a set of fact cards with the same information as the posters, but would fit nicely on screens for distance learning. While you could use the posters digitally, some screens are locked horizontally for any number of reasons, so the fact cards came in handy for sure. Below is an example of one of the fact cards for Earth. There are poster and cards for all eight planets, the Sun, and then some additional posters with constellations.

These posters really can add to a classroom. If classroom décor isn’t your thing, these fact posters work really well. They’re colorful AND educational!

Yoga Pose Card Sets

There are two yoga pose card sets included in this bundle. One focuses on outer space, while the other has yoga poses for the constellations of the zodiac. Yoga has so many benefits for children (and adults!). Yoga can help with classroom management and help the children process and retain information.

Memory Game

This is the classic memory game with 12 space-related images. You can use these for a center or quiet activity. Just print two copies and cut them out and they’re ready to go.

Space-Themed Printables

I designed the very simple printables to use for numerous activities. I didn’t want a lot of detail in them because I thought we could do more with them. They can of course be coloring sheets, but you can also put them in sheet protectors and use on a light table or board and have children fill in the pictures with glass beads, bingo chips, anything transparent. You can also use dot markers on them or use as mats for playdough.
