If you’re looking for a family activity for Game Night, look no further. We have a fun activity the whole family can play together. Silly and fun, it’s the perfect game you can all enjoy.
I came up with this family activity last year when things first began to shut down due to COVID. Schools has just closed and many businesses were beginning to set up for employees working from home. Everyone was home. ALL THE TIME. I know it can be difficult sometimes to come up with ideas and activities for the entire family, especially when you are stuck at home.
Thankfully now there is light at the end of the tunnel. Most people aren’t home as much or for as long as they once were over the past year. Sometimes, however, perhaps due to quarantine or weather, you might find yourselves at home one evening without an organized activity.
What I like about this activity is that you can play it inside or outside, use plastic eggs with or without treats, and add to this game if you like. It’s basically an activity starter that you can run with. Make it your own.
Games that encourage movement are beneficial for both children and adults. We ALL need movement! Studies have shown that movement is essential to retain and recall information and we should move regularly every 15 minutes. I think I need to move more, how about you? That gives me another idea for a family activity. I’ll have to get to work on that one. In the meantime, enjoy moving and grooving!
