We love scavenger hunt printables — so much so that we wanted to make sure we had a scavenger hunt even if the weather isn’t cooperating. Aren’t scavenger hunts fun?!?!?!?! Children love exploring and this activity keeps you moving and thinking.

Scavenger hunts may seem like nothing more than a fun activity to pass the time, but there really are benefits to having children do scavenger hunts. They can have interaction with others, working on social skills and cooperation in a group setting if in a classroom setting, but also trying out those problem solving skills: “We didn’t find what we needed here, but maybe we can find it over there!”

Children can also use their observational skills when doing a scavenger hunt and printables can be tailored to specific interests or themes too.
