Wake up yoga can be a great way to begin your day. Is waking up in the morning tough for your child? Are they cranky? Do they have a hard time getting out of bed? Lack of energy and focus? We have the solution! I just put together a deck of yoga pose cards that can help energize your child (and you too) each morning!

I am fond of this particular yoga pose card deck and its counterpart, Yogalore’s Calm Down Yoga Cards because they’re made of cards from other books and lesson plans that I have created previously, so there is a variety of designs and themes. They’re colorful, fun and easy to use. You can use them digitally on your phone, tablet, or even TV. Or you can print out and have a physical copy and put them on a ring to make a flip book.
I did want to mention that I included a “Rest & Relax” card in the pose deck. Seems odd in a wake up sequence, right? You can use this another time separately, or not. Rest & Relax is a very important part of the Yogalore curriculum and I wanted to make sure I included it.

How to Use Wake Up Yoga Cards
- Download the cards.

2. Use on your mobile device (or monitor) as you would any .pdf
3. If you choose to print, make sure your printer settings are adjusted. Click on “More Settings” and then the drop down menu will give you options. Click on “Pages per sheet” and set to “4” (or however many you like per page). These cards were designed to have four yoga cards per standard size (8 1/2″ x 11″) paper. I usually print on card stock and then laminate if possible and put on a ring to make a fun flip book that can be taken and used anywhere.
